Content Writer

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a creative, strategic, and research-driven Content Writer to join our growing digital marketing agency. If you have 2+ years of experience in crafting high-quality, SEO-driven content, and are comfortable working across a variety of tools and industries, this role is for you. You’ll play a key part in content strategy, SEO performance, and collaborative digital campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write original, engaging content for blogs, websites, landing pages, email campaigns, product descriptions, and social media.
  • Conduct deep topic research and audience analysis to guide content direction.
  • Perform keyword research and analysis using tools like Google Keyword Planner, MOZ Pro, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
  • Use content tools like AnswerThePublic, Google Trends, and BuzzSumo to identify trending topics and questions.
  • Optimize content for search engines (on-page SEO, metadata, internal linking, heading structure).
  • Collaborate with SEO strategists and designers to create cohesive and effective content.
  • Proofread and edit content to maintain quality, clarity, and brand consistency.
  • Maintain and update editorial calendars using project management and collaboration tools.
  • Track content performance and implement improvements as needed. 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of content writing experience in an agency or fast-paced digital environment.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and grammar skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices and content marketing strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like MOZ Pro, Yoast SEO, Surfer SEO, Grammarly, and WordPress.
  • Familiarity with Google Keyword Planner, Google Trends, AnswerThePublic, and other keyword/content tools.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Docs, Calendar, Forms, etc.) for collaboration and organization.
  • Strong research abilities and adaptability across multiple industries and tones.
  • Must have knowledge of working with Google Workspace tools (Google Docs, Sheet, Keep, Calendar, Drive etc)
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred. 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with content funnels (TOFU, MOFU, BOFU) and conversion-focused writing. 
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, basic CRO, and A/B testing concepts. 
  • Experience in writing for niches like SaaS, eCommerce, lifestyle, or tech. 
  • Understanding of task management tools like Asana, ClickUp, or Trello.
