Back End Developer

We are seeking a proficient Back End Developer to join our team in Kathmandu. The ideal candidate will have experience in full stack development, Laravel, and WordPress. As a Back End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the back office systems that support our organization’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain back office systems using full stack technologies.
• Design and implement efficient and scalable solutions for data management and processing.
• Customize and extend functionalities of existing back office systems built on Laravel and WordPress.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of back office applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing systems, providing timely resolutions.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in back end development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in back end development.
• Proficiency in full stack development technologies such as HTML,CSS, Modern JavaScript Framework (e.g., Vue.js, React.js) and PHP.
• Familiar with database systems such as MySQL
• Strong knowledge of Laravel framework for PHP development.
• Experience in WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of server management and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
